Dear athletes and guests,

​​It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the U16 Eurocup in inline skater hockey here in Wedemark. This tournament is much more than a sporting highlight – it is a celebration of encounters, fair competition, and international togetherness.
The choice of Wedemark as the venue for this significant international youth tournament is a proud moment for us as a community. I see this not only as a sporting event but also as a sign of the openness and hospitality of our municipality. Our community thrives on diversity, the commitment of many clubs, the volunteers, and the sporting achievements that are accomplished with great passion. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to this success – from the organizers to the sponsors to the numerous helping hands. 

I am particularly pleased that we can welcome international teams to this event, who will participate in this competition with great dedication and enthusiasm. Among them are the Duisburg Ducks, IHC La Broye, London Knightz, Red Devils Berlin, SHC Rolling Aventicum, IVA Rhein Main Patriots, Gekkos Gerlafingen, and SHC Bassecourt Eagles. Sport connects us across borders, and it is fascinating to see how young talents from different countries come together here, compete, and, above all, learn from each other.

I invite you all to use these days to be part of it with joy, enthusiasm, and team spirit. Let's cheer on the young talents, admire their sporting achievements, and celebrate this great competition together. I am sure the atmosphere will be unforgettable! The sporting environment of the Bissendorfer Panther will ensure this!
